CJ’s Off the Square is a romantic Nashville outdoor wedding venue. If you’re a bride planning a garden wedding or you want to incorporate elaborate romantic floral arrangements, Maelyn’s and Dawson’s wedding is sure to leave you inspired.

The day started with a few clouds and a bit of rain. Unexpected rain can bring unwanted stress to your wedding day, but I always try to encourage my couples to embrace their day for what is it. No matter what the weather turns out to be, we will work together to guarantee your priorities are captured with intention and great care.

Maelyn chose to get ready at The Harpeth Hotel located a couple blocks away from CJ’s. I also stayed at the hotel and had the best experience. I definitely recommend The Harpeth for bridal parties, family, and wedding photographers for a convenient and luxury experience.

We captured the couple’s first look on the porch due to the rain. Their private vows spoke of tender promises and many heartfelt tears were shed. If you’re nervous about sharing your vows during your ceremony, exchanging them during your first look is a great alternative.

The rain cleared out just in time for their evening ceremony. With a beautiful glow of sunlight and the melodies of the quartet playing in the background, Maelyn and Dawson said ‘I do’ in the tranquil gardens of CJ’s Off the Square.

The florals encapsulated this venue perfectly. Everyone was in awe of the stunning arrangements by Cali Roots Design. I felt as if I had stepped into an enchanted fairy wonderland. I can’t imagine a prettier color pallet for the modern/romantic bride.
