Olivia and Drew held their intimate backyard wedding at the home of Olivia’s parents. The ceremony site overlooked a gorgeous lake and hillside. Upon arriving, I knew the day would be filled with breathtaking details by the intentional pieces Olivia included in her details box. This perfect summer wedding continued with a firework surprise during their first kiss, a live band with an energetic performance, and Mcdonald’s to end a night of partying. I don’t know about you, but if I was in need of colorful backyard wedding inspiration, this would be a great start!

Preparing a handwritten note for your groom is a great way to add a special touch to your first look. So, we handed Drew a letter from Olivia, with the very last sentence prompting him to turn around and ‘kiss his bride.’ This was such a sweet and unique way to capture a first look.
