Francesca and Logan’s October ceremony turned out to be a beautifully emotional and romantic Smoky Mountain elopement overlooking the Foothills Parkway in Tennessee.

The Ceremony

This is such a sweet and special couple to me. Logan was actually in a small accident on the way to their elopement ceremony. Can you imagine? Getting the call on the day you’re getting married that your fiancé has been in an accident? We are not guaranteed tomorrow, not even on our wedding day. Thankfully for Logan and Francesca, it was nothing serious and only caused minor damage to the car. I think every person attending their ceremony was presented with the reminder that life is a gift. What could’ve been a very tragic day was actually able to continue on with a lot of love and joy.

Friendly reminder for all of us; hug your parents and let them know you love them. Make that phone call to your grandma when you miss her. Always give your wife a real kiss, not a little peck, before you leave for work. Read the second bedtime story to your kids. I know how exhausted you are, but they will remember the love you showed them by giving them your time. Take your friend out to lunch. Call your sister to check in on her. Surprise your husband at work with his favorite food for lunch. You won’t waste time doing this. You’ll only strength relationships.

Just freaking love and take care of each other man. Life is fleeting. Remember to be kind. Stay humble. Be a good human.
