hey, i'm chelbe!

wife. mother. romantic.

introductions can be hard, but here they don't have to be.
i'll start:

i'm a mother of two

You never have to learn to love your children. That pretty much comes with the territory. The love is instantly there the moment you get the winking plus sign on your pregnancy test. As if to say this is your "meet cute" and it's all history from there.

Both babies were unplanned. Both incredible stories of God's unwavering love and devotion to the desires of our hearts.

They are our blessings. Our joy. They are my legacy and forever my proudest achievements.

I'm a romantic

I might be stating the obvious here, but there's something so sweet about having a life long companion. Someone to take on life with, come what may. I'm a firm believer in the mind set, "never stop dating your spouse." That's what I love about being married to Jason. Getting to learn and discover pieces of him in every season of our marriage because those pieces will not reveal themselves on their own. It takes patience, awareness, and willingness to explore your spouse. So here's to the adventure of marriage! May we all set out on this journey with a fearlessness we've never known before!

What i love about being a wife

I.

things I love

Coffee

Give me all the coffee, Please! Not only do I love coffee, I'm obsessed with collecting mugs. Lately the bigger the better!

things i love

date nights

One of my favorite things to do is get dressed up and hangout with this stud. We love grabbing dinner together and ending the night with a drink somewhere downtown.

II.

things i love

long veils

I mean the longer the better! Veils are such a simple accessory yet the add so much beauty and elegance to every image.

III.

things i love

our home

We recently moved and let me just say, I love coming home to this place. I also love having an extra excuse to go to Target now that I have a blank canvas to decorate!

IV.

In vain I have struggled. It will not do. My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.
